Description
Is an internship passionate about changing the world's energy future intriguing? If so, we might have just the opportunity you're looking for! Reporting to the K-12 Education Programs Manager, you will be involved in the Bioenergy Research and Education Bridge (BRIDGES) Program. You will work on innovative research and development regarding the U.S. bioenergy industry including, biofuels, waste-to-energy solutions, and other similar areas. You will also be paired with mentors from INL's Biomass Feedstock National User Facility (BFNUF) and related bioenergy research groups. BRIDGES intern be encouraged to develop a poster and technical paper documenting your work from the internship for possible use in technical conferences and public forums. Interns will also work with INL researchers and scientists on research and development projects in the U.S. bioenergy industry, municipal waste and other domestically available reusable carbon sources to be converted into sustainable fuel, chemicals, products and power. This team works a 9x80 schedule onsite in Idaho Falls, Idaho. Qualifications
