This position is for an experienced PT to provide evaluation and treatment of patients in the cardiac ICU (CICU) and cardiac progressive care unit (CPCU.) The patient population is diverse in ages, diagnosis and needs but includes a high number of fragile infants, therefore, experience in CICU, NICU or other fragile infant populations is needed. The ideal candidate would also have experience in managing pediatric acute care including early mobilization and acute rehabilitation. The Physical Therapist II provide physical therapy services including evaluation, treatment and follow up and documentation using general competencies for inpatient and outpatient children referred to the physical therapy department. Provide supervision for PT aides/assistants and students with specific tasks and/or patients. Provide continuous consultation and education to families. The Physical Therapist II successfully fulfills the requirements of a specified area or completes and maintains the Career Advancement Program (CAP), demonstrating both excellence in job performance and on-going contributions in service, education and research, and professional development and leadership. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS An employee in this position may be called upon to do any or all of the following essential functions. These examples do not include all of the functions which the employee may be expected to perform. Collaborates with the family, physicians, schools and other providers to ensure the continuum of care for the child and optimal clinical services. Provides consultation and education to other professionals and families as necessary. Completes written documentation in accordance with department standards for format, location, and time frames. Independently evaluates patients with a variety of diagnosis, in specialized programs, on inpatient and/or outpatient units. Incorporates principles of cultural-competence and family-centered care into clinical services. Assists in achieving departmental financial budget targets. Provides clinical supervision as needed/when appropriate for physical therapy clinical interns and or/PT I. Treatment- Treat children across the continuum, with a variety of diagnoses, in specialized programs on inpatient and outpatient units and in the community. Incorporates principles of cultural-competence and family-centered care into clinical services. Seeks out appropriate mentoring/training and consults with relative Program Coordinator and/or assigned mentor for complex patient diagnoses. Other Information SCOPE AND LEVEL

Salary Information Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience. Annual Salary Range (Based on 40 hours worked per week): $84,558.69 to $126,838.03 Benefits Information Here, you matter.
