Full-time Shift(s): MON TUE WED THU FRI 7:00am - 5:00pm

OVERVIEW:

Working as Full-time Industrial Services Lead, you will be involved with the overall success of the department by leading production and profit goals. You will help direct the department's people, production, and overall profit and loss while dealing directly with our Fastenal branch locations and customers. This position may offer a flexible schedule after a period of onboarding, training, and meeting performance goals.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

o Leading a team of technicians and support staff on daily tasks

o Working with various internal teams to ensure operational flow

o Leading the receiving, picking, and shipping tasks to ensure on time delivery of orders

o Ensuring all orders are shipped within the designated timelines

o Communicating with Fastenal branches and vendors

o Following all International Standardization Organization (ISO) quality procedures

o Leading and motivating a team of employees

o Complying with all safety regulations

REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

The following skills and qualifications are required for this position:

o Possess a current full valid driver's license issued in the country where the job is located (including successful completion of any applicable graduated license program for your state or province) as well as the ability to meet our driving record requirements to use a company vehicle, as needed

o Possess at least 1 year of industrial services OR leadership work experience

o Excellent written and oral communication skills

o Exhibit strong problem solving, deductive reasoning and decision making skills

o Proficient computer skills

o Mechanically inclined

o Demonstrate strong math aptitude, attention to detail and sense of urgency

o Highly motivated, self directed and customer service oriented

o Highly motivated and self directed with the ability to motivate others

o Learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast paced environment

o Willingness to travel

o Willingness to work a flexible schedule

o Demonstrate our core values of ambition, innovation, integrity and teamwork

o Lift, slide, carry and lower packages that typically weigh 25lbs-50lbs and may weigh up to 100lbs

o Pass the required drug screen (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico and Guam ONLY)

PREFERRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

o Possess at least 1 year of Fastenal work experience

o Previous manufacturing, repair, or fabrication work experience
