SUMMARY

Reporting to the Ecosystem and Partnership Portfolio Manager, this position is responsible for the coordination and scheduling of educational programs worldwide, ensuring the smooth execution of courses in collaboration with strategic partners. The specialist will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to maintain strong partnerships and optimize course delivery.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.



  • Leads special projects related to Education systems and cross functionally represents Education on enterprise projects.
  • Partnership Ecosystem Coordination: Manage and nurture relationships with key external partners (vendors, partners, contractors, facilities, etc.) to ensure high-quality service delivery and alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Facility Approval & Oversight: Evaluate and approve new facilities for global course delivery, ensuring alignment with the scope, schedule, budget, and quality standards. Work with internal teams and partners to optimize the selection process for future course locations.
  • Operational Leadership: Lead operational processes for Education, including working with internal teams, vendors, and partners, to deliver seamless educational experiences for students, instructors, and clients.
  • Contract Negotiation & Partnership Management: Identify and negotiate agreements with external service providers (e.g., A/V, catering, transportation) to support course delivery.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with all departments to ensure efficient communication of course details and accurate registration processes.
  • Partner & Service Delivery Oversight: Monitor and manage external partnerships to ensure timely and high-quality service delivery that aligns with contractual agreements.
  • Course Performance Analysis: Analyze data and trends for courses, making recommendations to add or remove courses based on performance and demand within the global market.
  • Inventory & Resource Management: Track and manage the inventory and resources necessary for course delivery, ensuring availability and readiness for each scheduled course.



SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

No supervisory responsibilities are required for this role.


Qualifications

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

Some travel (5%) is expected for this role, a valid driver's license and passport are required.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

4-year college degree in business, adult education, or a related field. Or a minimum of 5 years of related work experience preferably in a not-for-profit/associate field. Prior event scheduling, contract negotiation, and project management skills in this role are a plus.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, members, employees of the organization, customers, and the general public.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, etc. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. Ability to develop and interpret business graphs.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, verbal, diagram, or schedule form. Possess the ability to read technical reports, including inventory data, and make judgment decisions on future courses and the likelihood of having available resources. Ability to perform a project level cost accounting report and provide forecasting data based on projections of upcoming courses.

OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES

Must possess the ability to communicate with technicians, business owners, and diverse clientele professionally and with business acumen both in written form, over the phone, and face to face, as needed. Lead special projects with minimal or no supervision. Having demonstrated personnel management skills including, but not limited to, the ability to evaluate staff performance and provide direction, is highly desirable. Ability to work in a multi-task environment considering various external factors and to communicate efficiently and accurately to both managers/supervisors and subordinate staff. Must be detail oriented.

Must be computer literate with knowledge and experience in word processing and spreadsheet software. Ability to learn and use association specific software.
