- Must have BA/BS in Civil Engineering and four (4) years related experience in airfield engineering.
- Must be regesitered as a Professional Engineer or the ability to become registered in 2 years.
- Must be mentally and physically capable of performing all essential duties required of the position.
- Must be able to read, analyze and interpret basic scientific, technical, financial and legal documents.
- Must be able to apply mathematical concepts such as exponents, logarithms, quadratic equations and permutations.
- Must have average verbal and written communication skills for both internal and external relationships.
- Must be able to respond effectively to sensitive inquiries from clients, regulatory agencies, and/or members of the business community.
- Must have Microsoft Office suite skills.
- Must be familiar with discipline related software applications.
- Must have expertise in AutoDesk Civil 3D and AutoCAD software.
- Must be familiar with FAA Design Advisory Circulars and be able to implement in design.
- Resulting Physical Qualifications:
- Must be able to sit for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to operate and manipulate standard office equipment.
- Must be able to occasionally reach, bend, climb and/or balance.
- Must be able to frequently lift and/or move 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.
