Shipping & Logisitcs Specialist

TrueTimber Outdoors is a design, distribution, and sourcing company, with over 90 employees, located in Inman, SC. The company specializes in apparel, textiles, marine components, hydrographic film, and outdoor recreational accessories. As a subsidiary of the national outdoor retailer, Bass Pro Shops since 2014, the company has experienced high levels of growth year after year.

TrueTimber is currently seeking a self-motivated, highly organized Shipping & Logistics Specialist to join the team at TrueTimber Outdoors. The Shipping & Logistics Specialist will work closely with the internal team as well as customers and freight carriers to ensure proper shipping documentation and on-time deliveries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and print EDI carton labels corresponding to customer shipping requirements
• Manage outbound logistic by scheduling and routing shipments
• Navigate and process shipments through company and customer portals
• Compile accurate packing lists and bill of ladings for each outbound shipment
• Maintain all computerized shipping and distribution records

Qualifications:

• Excellent time management, administrative and organization skills
• Communication and interpersonal skills for troubleshooting shipping issues
• Ability to maintain relationships with freight companies, co-workers, management, and vendors
• Knowledge of shipping procedures
• Knowledge of NetSuite or other ERP systems preferred, but not required
• Knowledge of Retail Link a plus
• Strong computer and math skills
• Reliable and punctual attendance is required
• 3-5 years in advanced shipping setting
