Summary: As a Patient Care Coordinator, you will be at the forefront of our commitment to providing excellent customer service to internal and external clients as we grow our diagnostic business. You will be responsible for managing the seamless intake of orders from physician offices, ensuring accuracy, and a positive experience for both physicians and patients while handling inquiries about tests. You will provide outstanding support, addressing inquiries, and will interface with patient billing, laboratory operations, sample management, and commercial operations. Cultivate positive relationships with physician offices, patients, and internal stakeholders to enhance the overall client experience and foster long-term partnerships. Location: Hybrid Responsibilities: Manage inbound and outbound communication with physicians and clients using Salesforce/Service Cloud (CRM) and other software platforms, promptly addressing inquiries and resolving cases efficiently. Coordinate with physicians' offices to gather missing test requisition form information and secure sample procurement. Provide support to patients by addressing their questions and concerns and directing phone calls to appropriate team members related to testing. Facilitate patient mobile phlebotomy requests and managing logistics surrounding sample collection kits and incoming samples/blocks. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to tackle complex issues and ensure effective problem resolution. Liaise with Sales and Medical Affairs teams to ensure ordering physicians and coordinators have necessary access and support. Conduct follow-up on test requisition forms and ensure accurate data entry in LIMS (Laboratory Information Management Systems). Support patient billing operations by collaborating with the billing team. Work closely with biospecimen management and lab operations to monitor sample receipt and progress. Partner with genetic counselors to rectify discrepant information on pathology reports, obtain clinical notes as needed, and track report progress for turnaround time. Perform additional duties or projects as assigned. Requirements: Bachelor of Science or related degree with a minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a physician/patient facing role Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy of information. Knowledge of laboratory or clinical diagnostics industry operations. Prior experience with Salesforce/Service Cloud, LIMS and G Suite preferred. The hiring range for this position is $28.00 to $34.00 per hour, which may factor in various geographic regions. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
