The Department of Pediatrics at NYU Grossman School of Medicine and Hassenfeld Children's Hospital at NYU Langone Health is seeking a full-time academic physician to join the Division of Pediatric Hematology-Oncology with expertise in bone marrow, stem cell transplantation, and cellular therapy. We encourage candidates with expertise in all aspects of transplant care including stem cell and bone marrow harvesting, tissue typing and evaluation, infusion practices and expertise in the prevention and treatment of transplant complications and GvHD. We expect the candidates to fully participate in the programmatic requirements to maintain FACT accreditation for allogeneic stem cell transplantation. Responsibilities include the provision of clinical care in the inpatient and ambulatory settings as well as education and research in the division. The division has 9 pediatric hematologists-oncologists and provides a complete range of clinical services, including management of a diverse patient population with a full spectrum of hematologic and oncologic conditions. Successful candidates will have a demonstrated commitment to clinical practice and scholarly activities and will be responsible for fostering programmatic development. Applicants must be board certified/ eligible in Pediatric Hematology-Oncology and must be licensed (or eligible for licensure) in New York State.
