You Are:

You are a highly skilled and detail-oriented tax professional with a passion for compliance and process improvement. You have a robust understanding of tax accounting and reporting, and you thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. With a critical eye for detail, you can identify and evaluate complex tax issues, ensuring compliance and accuracy in all your work. Your excellent communication skills allow you to effectively collaborate with diverse teams, including accounting, legal, finance, and treasury. Your strong interpersonal skills and "yes, if" mindset make you a valuable team player, and you are dedicated to supporting the growth and development of your team members.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Manage and review the consolidated quarterly and annual tax provisions under ASC 740, including the worldwide effective tax rate, deferred taxes, uncertain tax positions, valuation allowances, and tax footnote.
  • Prepare quarterly tax provision memoranda.
  • Maintain SOX controls documentation and processes, coordinating with outside service providers and external auditors.
  • Manage and review all aspects of U.S. income compliance, collaborating with outside tax return preparers.
  • Oversee quarterly Federal estimates and extension tax calculations and payments.
  • Work with the tax planning team to ensure proper purchase accounting and compliance reporting of M&A transactions.
  • Identify and support the implementation of process improvements.

  • Maintain compliance with SOX controls, safeguarding the company's financial processes.
  • Facilitate efficient and accurate U.S. income tax compliance, minimizing risks and ensuring adherence to regulations.
  • Drive the continuous improvement of tax processes, increasing efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, fostering a culture of compliance and excellence.

What You'll Need:

  • Focused experience in tax accounting and reporting.
  • Critical thinking skills with experience recognizing and evaluating tax issues.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with team members.
  • Interest in helping the growth of team members.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills demonstrating a "yes, if" mindset.
  • Experience with OneSource Tax Provision is a plus.
  • Ability to manage and execute multiple projects.
  • J.D. or CPA, with a Masters in Tax preferred.
  • 5 plus years of experience in public accounting and/or multinational corporation.

The Team You'll Be a Part Of:

You will be a key member of the Corporate Tax Operations team, reporting to the Sr. Tax Director of Provision and Compliance. This team is dedicated to managing the global accounting for income taxes and ensuring compliance with Federal income tax regulations. You will work closely with various departments, including accounting, legal, finance, and treasury, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
