The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. The above hiring range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.

Position Summary

The Department of Epidemiology at the Mailman School of Public Health is recruiting a non-student short term casual to work as a part of Dr. Jeanine Genkiner's research team and research projects. The candidate will work closely with Dr. Genkinger and the Database Shared Resource Group to support multiple cancer research studies, including patient screening and recruitment, data management and other regulatory support, and data entry. The candidate will also assist in literature reviews, data analysis, and development of study summary reports.

Responsibilities




  • Recruitment and study management, 80%

    Data analysis, 10%

    Literature reviews, 5%

    Other duties as assigned, 5%




Minimum Qualifications



  • A bachelor's degree is required.


Preferred Qualifications




  • The successful candidate must possess a high level of initiative, clear communication skills, and attention to detail, in addition to a demonstrated ability to be flexible to the evolving needs of cancer research studies.



  • Strong data entry skills and familiarity with patient consenting and study management are strongly preferred.



  • Phlebotomy certified or willing to obtain certification. Spanish proficiency preferred.
