Job Details

The Accounts Receivable Collections Analyst will oversee the aging and collection processes for both Trade and Supplier accounts, including managing collection of cost-sharing bill-backs with beverage suppliers. This role is responsible for maintaining account portfolios, ensuring timely collections, and collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders. Additionally, the analyst will work closely with the Sales team to streamline account management and optimize collection efforts.

Primary Responsibilities



  • Responsible for managing Accounts Receivable supplier and trade portfolio within established aging goals, ensuring timely collection of balances due.
  • Update aging detail reports and customer accounts with collection notes, correspondence and establish means of follow up.
  • Prepare, review, and send out monthly customer statements.
  • Field customer inquiries, implement timely responses and resolutions.
  • Demonstrate solid written and oral communication skills and be comfortable with all forms of communication including phone, email, and traditional correspondence.
  • Comfortable interacting with all levels of senior management.
  • Must have good organizational and follow up skills to track all open issues on accounts and be able to report on as required.
  • Understanding of OLCC/WSLCB liquor regulations and required compliance and apply as required.
  • Utilize customer proprietary systems for payment status.
  • Work with Branch managers and sales staff related to new account set ups, credit applications, credit reports, credit limits, etc.
  • Process AR adjustments with appropriate support documentation and approval.
  • Develop and maintain positive, cooperative, and team-oriented relationships with co-workers, supervisors, managers and others you encounter through your job.

  • Complete all other tasks or projects as assigned.


Key Competencies



  • Understanding of credit and collection laws and related job duties required.
  • Ability to achieve independent collections results with minimal supervision.
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications including excel, word, outlook and 10 key by touch.

Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position, Monday -- Friday.

Required Education and Experience



  • High School diploma or GED required
  • Minimum three (3) years credit/collection experience


Preferred Experience and Education



  • Bachelor's/college degree preferred


Compensation



  • Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and specific location.
