How You'll Make an Impact

  • Analyze and validate structural analytical calculations.

  • Implement and optimize formulas and algorithms for mechanical structures.

  • Collaborate in a cross-discipline team using agile and waterfall methodologies.

  • Apply best practices and Hitachi Energy standards to develop high-quality products.

  • Participate in status reviews and provide input on potential issues.

  • Drive innovation by creating proofs of concept for new technologies.

  • Create and maintain technical standards.

  • Work with multinational teams and escalate issues as needed.

Your Background

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent with 2 years of related experience.

  • Strong understanding of structural analysis and optimization.

  • Analytical skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving.

  • Basic programming experience.

  • Advantageous knowledge in Visual Basic (Excel macros), Python, Creo Simulate, ANSYS, and Machine Learning.

  • Proficiency in 3D CAD (Creo Parametric preferred).

  • Familiarity with modern project management tools and processes (Azure DevOps, Agile, etc.).

  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
