Description

Primary role of this 1st shift position is to setup, operate and take down equipment and machinery that is designated to the Finishing department.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Assess daily priorities and customer deadlines.
  • Set up and load machines.
  • Operate equipment proficiently.
  • Develop and execute efficient workflows.
  • Trouble shoot problems and find a solution.
  • Quality assurance on all jobs
  • Always keep an organized and clean workspace.
  • Cutting, padding, binding, drilling, stitching, etc.
  • Work safely



KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS



  • Previous equipment operation experience in the print industry.
  • Basic computer skills
  • Detail-oriented, dependable, and self-motivated
  • Positive outlook, goal-oriented, and reliable
  • Critical thinking
  • Proficiency in reading measurements
  • Basic math
  • Read and follow instructions.
  • Self-motivated and team player
  • Knowledge of print industry

  • Guillotine Cutter
  • Machine Taper
  • Mounting Machine
  • Laminator
  • Fotoba Cutter
  • Digital Cutter

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay for this position is $20 USD hourly. Ultimately, in determining pay, we will consider the successful candidate's location, experience, and other job-related factors.
