We are currently looking for an Brand Marketing Sr. Specialist that is creative, organized, detail orientated with excellent writing skills to support the Sr. Manager who oversees PR, Corporate Communications and Content within the Brand Marketing department. The Brand Marketing Sr. Specialist will thrive in an environment where they are multitasking to support various internal/external marketing campaigns and initiatives, with an approachable, self-starter attitude and ability to seek solutions.

JOB SCOPE

  • Support Sr. Manager and Manager on PR, Corporate Communications and Content initiatives across the BEHR U.S. brand
  • Provide communications support to executive leadership that distributes across global team member audiences

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Plan, write and edit content for a variety of internal/external communications channels, such as newsletters, memos, letters, personnel, organizational announcements and more
  • Identify and define communications approach for various internal/external campaigns and initiatives
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute employer brand campaigns and materials
  • Create and plan visual content and write/edit captions for employer brand social media channels including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and LinkedIn (video editing skills a plus)
  • Lead quarterly performance reporting of social media and corporate blog channels
  • Contribute to the planning and execution of internal/external photo and video content captures (some travel may be needed)
  • Work with third-party agency to support Corporate and Brand PR initiatives; coordinate proactive/reactive media inquiries, award submissions, etc.
  • Support executive leadership team on various communications-related tasks/projects
  • Coordinate companywide and department meetings, workshops and events; attend external events as needed
  • Process estimates, invoices and purchase orders for Brand team within department

Experience:

  • Bachelors in Marketing/Communications/Business Administration preferred
  • An accountable, organized individual with great attention to detail and focus on the quality of results
  • Strong communicator, both written and verbal - AP writing style knowledge a plus
  • Proficient in MS Office applications, especially PowerPoint and Teams
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment
  • Track record of success in a highly self-directed environment
  • Flexibility of schedule and ability to shift priorities based on needs of business

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  • Strong writing skills, ability to edit copy, craft headlines, identify story angles and conduct interviews
  • Social media skills, trend-spotting and content crafting for high engagement opportunities
  • Creative problem-solving skills, with ability to foresee potential issues
  • Highly organized, thorough and detail-oriented
  • Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills when working with internal team and external customers
  • Strong collaboration skills, personable, able to navigate structure and create relationships
  • Ability to plan and manage projects, tasks and workflow including managing multiple projects with competing demands and deadline pressure
  • Critical thinking and intuition
Company: Behr Paint Company Shift 1 (United States of America) Full time Hiring Range: $66,600.00 - $104,610.00 Actual compensation may vary based on various factors including experience, education, geographic location, and/or skills.
