As our Sales Coach, you will be responsible for ensuring the readiness of our Sales organization by helping new and existing Account Executives establish and sustain sales activities and behaviors that drive revenue.

This role will be primarily focused on helping Account Executives and Sales leaders develop the skills they need to improve their approach to selling and add value to every sales interaction. Engagement begins with onboarding new sales professionals and extends to ongoing development as people continue to grow their careers.

You will directly influence the Sales organization in improving skills and reaching goals, ultimately helping people realize the best version of themselves! Additionally, you will have a direct hand in the great experience we insist all our team members have at NAVEX!

What you'll do:

  • Create and deliver a formal sales coaching strategy to deliver continuous learning to individuals, leaders, and teams across the Sales organization

  • Establish a strong sense of trust with the Sales organization by creating an environment that's focused on identifying opportunities and sharpening skills

  • Provide continuous, hands-on support and guidance to Account Executives one-on-one through feedback and coaching sessions, role plays, and deal collaboration

  • Deliver feedback and coaching that is tailored to the individual and buyer scenario, with a focus on upleveling skills and behaviors

  • Identify key insights from coaching to address skill gaps and inform the enablement team's overall strategy and training programming

  • Communicate learning progress and opportunities with Sales leaders on a regular basis

  • Collaborate and calibrate cross-functionally with key teams to deliver comprehensive guidance that uplevels our Account Executives and Sales leaders

  • Reinforce the adoption of our sales strategy, processes, and technology and encourage ongoing improvement

  • Run coaching and training programs designed to help the sales team improve organic growth, cross-sell, and upsell

What you'll need:

  • A Bachelor's degree and prior work related experience or equivalent

  • 5+ years of experience implementing a variety of coaching and selling methodologies, with the ability to adapt to new and evolving trends

  • 2+ years management experience, with a genuine desire to help others achieve their goals

  • Experience as an Account Executive, with demonstrated ability to meet/exceed quota in a consultative selling environment

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines while managing competing priorities. Flexibility and the ability to quickly make changes is key

  • Ability to drive results through your job competencies of talent development, influence and strategic execution

  • Ability to drive results through NAVEX core competencies of accountability, customer focus, drives results and instills trust

  • Every team member is required to have a career plan in place, to be reviewed with their manager after six months in our team.

  • The starting pay range for this role is $130,000+ per annum with 5% MBO.

  • Pay progression based on your performance.
