Position Accountabilities



  • Manages collection and workout related functions including communicating with delinquent customers and/or those struggling financially, delinquency reporting, working with outside counsel in default scenarios. engaging appraisal, repossession and remarketing firms when necessary
  • Create procedures for collections and customer service processes
  • Create delinquency reporting
  • Create process for collection notes, auto generated demand and delinquency letter in the Aspire system
  • Works with Loan Services department by providing processing instructions for payments received via ACH, wire transfer and by check when covering multiple accounts. The PCM will also work with Loan Services on any contract modifications
  • Manages customer Service-related functions including payoff quotes, end-of-term processing, and invoicing issues
  • Provides miscellaneous reports to other departments
  • Adheres to all applicable laws and regulations governing bank operations
  • Adheres to all applicable AUEF's policies and procedures
  • Work closely with the Operations Manager regarding any internal and external audit and examiner issues and in updating policies and procedures
  • This position will eventually be a people manager building out the customer service and collections department


Organizational Relationship

This position reports to AUEF's Equipment Finance Operations Manager

Position Qualifications

Education & Experience



  • Bachelor's degree in finance, banking or another related field preferred
  • Ten or more years in Equipment or Commercial Finance within a financial institution


Knowledge & Skills



  • Experience with equipment loan/lease and bank accounting software system working knowledge of the Aspire accounting system is a plus
  • Knowledge of various loan and lease structures such as TRAC, Split TRAC, and FMV leases
  • Superior customer service skills
  • Excellent computer skills relevant to Microsoft Office Suites
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Well organized with attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple priorities
  • Flexible, able to adapt to change
  • Superior time management and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently (including remotely) as well as within a team environment



Salary offered will be based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. This position is also eligible to participate in either an applicable incentive compensation plan for the position or a discretionary profit sharing bonus program.
