Job Duties/Scope Of Work

At Central Plateau Cleanup Company (CPCCo), located in Richland, Washington, we are working to provide a sustainable future for the historic Hanford area through the protection of the Columbia River and the remediation of the Central Plateau. A day in the life of an Activity Manager may involve, but not limited to the following:
* Overseeing and providing direction for staff performing detailed evaluations of groundwater monitoring data and hydrogeologic conditions to determine site and groundwater conditions occur. This includes any special studies such as groundwater rebound and soil flushing.
* Providing oversight with subcontracted resources in execution of contracted scope.
* Providing technical oversight and performance of management reviews during the document development process.
* Coordinating and leading discussions with CPCCo, client, and regulatory agencies communicating the progress of, and issues associated with monitoring, characterization, and drilling.
* Coordinating geological, drilling, and characterization activities with other functional and project organizations.
* Providing strategy input and support for the coordinated closure of RCRA and CERCLA sites.
* Providing senior level input and oversight for drilling and sampling planning ensuring the integration of CERCLA, RCRA, and AEA requirements.
* Working with staff, developing and implementing processes improvements.
* Provide Earned Value Management System (EVMS) input for assigned control accounts, cost and schedule tracking, and reporting progress and issues to senior management.
Basic Qualifications
* Career Grade 20: Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience plus 8 or more years of relevant experience.
* Senior Grade 21: Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience plus 10 or more years of relevant experience.
The higher posted level has greater scope, complexity, authority, impact. The level offered to the selected candidate will be based on the needs of the company and the candidate's education, training, and/or experience.
Desired Qualifications
* Experience working with regulatory agencies. * Knowledge of RCRA, CERCLA, and AEA monitoring requirements. * Experience developing, interpreting and implementing monitoring and characterization work plans. * Experience with the interpretation and use of field and laboratory analytical data. * Experience evaluating geologic and hydrogeologic conditions. * B.A/B.S. in Environmental Science, Engineering, Environmental Health, Chemistry, Geology, Hydrogeology or similar discipline. * Project Management experience including knowledge of EVMS documentation and reporting requirements.
Compensation & Benefits
In accordance with the CPCCo salary determination process, CPCCo takes into consideration the level of assigned job duties and responsibilities, and the candidate's education, training, and/or experience relative to internal peers and the external labor market. CPCCo will not solicit salary history for candidates.
Expected annualized pay range based on full time schedule (40 hours per week):
* Career Level Grade 20: $129,063 - $162,688 * Senior Level Grade 21: $142,038 - $179,113
In addition to base pay, employees may be eligible for variable pay awards.

* Relocation Eligibility: Must be located greater than 50 miles from Richland, WA 99352. If eligible for relocation, the Not To Exceed (NTE) range offered to the selected candidate will be based on the needs of the company and the candidate's education, training, and/or experience in relation to the position grade level offered. The higher posted level has greater scope, complexity, authority, impact.
