At Central Plateau Cleanup Company (CPCCo), located in Richland, Washington, we are working to provide a sustainable future for the historic Hanford area through the protection of the Columbia River and the remediation of the Central Plateau. Soil and Groundwater Operations is seeking a Shift Operations Manager. Your primary duties will include, but are not limited to:

* Direct bargaining unit personnel on a daily basis.

* Maintains knowledge of safety policies and procedures and performs assigned duties in a safe manner, and if supervising others, has responsibility for the safety of those being supervised and ensure they comply with established safety policies and procedures and practice safe work habits.

* Supervise the operation of pump and treat facilities.

* Administer Lock and Tag.

* Perform Building Warden duties for the pump and treat facilities.

* Prepare/ Review work packages, preparation of Correction Action Management documents, interface with procedure development and other general operations functions.

* Troubleshoot equipment failures and provide technical guidance on repair method and /or operating techniques.

* Analyze equipment and systems problems to determine corrective actions to return equipment and systems to normal service.

* Support construction activities in the form of work package development, work release, oversight, and startup testing.

* Other tasks will be assigned such as taking the lead on special projects.

* Able to work shift work if assigned.


Basic Qualifications


* Grade 20 - Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience, plus 8 years of relevant experience.

* Grade 21 - Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience, plus 10 years of relevant experience.

The higher posted level has greater scope, complexity, authority, impact. The level offered to the selected candidate will be based on the needs of the company and the candidate's education, training, and/or experience.


Desired Qualifications


* Previous lead/management experience.
* Experience in startup and operation of new facilities/processes.
* Previous lock and tag controlling organization administrator experience.
* Broad familiarity with requirements of one or more of the following facilities:
*Hazardous material processing
*Nuclear
*Radiological facility


Compensation & Benefits


In accordance with the CPCCo salary determination process, CPCCo takes into consideration the level of assigned job duties and responsibilities, and the candidate's education, training, and/or experience relative to internal peers and the external labor market. CPCCo will not solicit salary history for candidates.

Expected annualized pay range based on full time schedule (40 hours per week):

* Grade 20: $129,063 - $162,688.

* Grade 21: $142,038 - $179,113.

In addition to base pay, employees may be eligible for variable pay awards.
