Position Overview:

  • Responsible for stocking inventory and cash handling in the gift shop retail outlets. Responsible for promoting marketing and selling products to customers.

Location:

  • Bayview Medical Center Gift Shop.

Schedule:

  • Monday- Friday 10:30 AM- 7:00 PM.

Pay Rate:

  • $17.50 Per hour.

Requirements

  • Skilled in stocking and inventory management in the retail arena.
  • Greets all customers with personal service and provides supervisor customer satisfaction.
  • Responsible for cash handling, making changes, and totaling bank daily.
  • Effectively merchandising products.
  • Promotes and markets products to customers.
  • Light sanitation and cleanup of storeroom as appropriate.

Required Physical, Mental, and Visual Abilities

  • Stooping and bending.
  • Reaching and grasping objects.
  • Walking and/or standing for extended periods of time.
  • Work requires working in an area that is somewhat uncomfortable due to drafts, noise, temperature variation, or the like.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma.
  • 1-2 years of retail experience required or 1-2 years of inventory experience required.
  • Small lifting.
  • Cash handling experience required.
