.PRIMARY FUNCTION:

The Office of Institutional Advancement (OIA) is embarking on an ambitious journey to migrate from Blackbaud Raiser' s Edge CRM to the new Enterprise-Wide CRM. OIA seeks an efficient, highly motivated and customer-focused candidate in the role of Project Manager. Reporting to the AVP of Information Management & Analytics, this position will be responsible for providing extensive leadership support to the CRM migration project over a 2.5 year term position concluding in June 2027.

The Project Manager is responsible for supporting Institutional Advancement's transformation strategy through the management of the CRM implementation initiatives. The Project Manager has the qualifications and business acumen to manage this large scale and strategic project that spans organizational boundaries including multiple teams and campuses. They provide leadership to cross-functional teams responsible for delivering defined project outputs to time, budget and project quality criteria.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

* Provide day to day project management leadership for Enterprise CRM (Preferably Salesforce)

* Collaborate to determine and define project scope and objectives

* Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan, including identifying roles and responsibilities, timelines, deliverables and tasks

* Manage project timelines, keeping owners accountable for deliverables and deadlines and escalating any risks for dependencies

* Prepare project status reports, including identifying risks and tracking open items

* Collaborate and contribute to documentation on business requirements, functional requirements, interface requirements, data conversion requirements, and reporting requirements

* Identify and manage the allocation of resources to meet project objectives, including collaboration with CRM administrators, staff and vendors to stay on track

* Schedule meetings and internal communication necessary to track and complete progress toward objectives

* Incorporate change requests and assess impacts to project completion

* Develop testing plan for various stakeholders for multiple rounds of testing, identifying and suggesting use cases, expected outcomes and tracking and reviewing issues

* Create new documentation and/or update existing documentation for Policy, Processes and Procedures in the CRM

* Schedule and manage CRM training for end users

* Create and deliver change management communication plan for the department

* Be the daily point of contact for questions about the CRM migration project

* Ensure best practices are developed and subject matter expertise is maintained on CRM functionality focusing on standardization across the enterprise

* Identify, create and manage project plan and tasks to support the CRM responsibilities for OIA Staff and vendor related tasks

* Participate, plan and distribute CRM based communication to the organization

* Identify and manage project tasks that are in support of the CRM implementation such as business intelligence reports, visual analytics dashboards, receipt letters, 3rd party tool integration, ETL tasks, etc.

* Working effectively with partners within University Advancement and across the university to accomplish goals.

* Partner with the implementation vendor on all tasks, policies, data integrity, and all other related requirements

* Providing the team with a significant depth of knowledge about University/higher education, fundraising, and alumni relations.

* 3+ years of project management skills required

* All other duties as assigned

QUALFICATIONS:

  • College Degree Preferred but a combination of education and relevant experience from which comparable knowledge is demonstrated may be considered.
  • Driver's License
  • Experienced with CRM migration and implementation, with a focus on fundraising CRM systems

Comfortable with Agile development methodology and project management tools, such as JIRA

Strong communication and documentation skills

Ability to document decisions, policy and procedures and project tasks.

Strong ability to collaborate across teams and effectively communicate expectations and goals for projects, executing on time

Comfortable with multiple simultaneous project responsibilities and ability to manage reporting up and down the leadership ladder.

Proactive self-starter with experience prioritizing and managing multiple projects and resources
