At Central Plateau Cleanup Company (CPCCo), located in Richland, Washington, we are working to provide a sustainable future for the historic Hanford area through the protection of the Columbia River and the remediation of the Central Plateau. Primary duties of a Training Specialist include, but are not limited to:

* Training Development and Evaluation: Independently analyze, design, and evaluate training programs, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

* Program Coordination: Lead the coordination and administration of training programs, managing timelines and resources.

* Material Design: Develop comprehensive training materials, including OJT qualification cards and knowledge assessments.

* Needs Analysis: Conduct thorough needs analyses and participate in selecting qualified instructors.

* Program Design: Collaborate on the design and implementation of training programs, contributing innovative ideas.

* Lesson Planning: Develop detailed lesson plans and engaging presentations, incorporating feedback from previous sessions.

* Training Delivery: Conduct diverse training formats, including performance-based and computer-based training.

* Compliance: Ensure all training activities adhere to CPCCo standards and contribute to process improvements.


Basic Qualifications


* Career Grade 16: Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience with 5 or more years of relevant experience

* Career Grade 17: Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience with 6 or more years of relevant experience

The higher posted level has greater scope, complexity, authority, impact. The level offered to the selected candidate will be based on the needs of the company and the candidate's education, training, and/or experience.


Desired Qualifications


* Experience working in the VISION development software program, or similar program.

* Instructor qualification or training specialist qualification related to technical/functional operations of a nuclear facility (operation of pumps, valves, ventilation systems, waste transfer systems, chemical systems).

* Knowledge of regulatory requirements for nuclear facilities in regard to training and to facility operations.


Compensation & Benefits


In accordance with the CPCCo salary determination process, CPCCo takes into consideration the level of assigned job duties and responsibilities, and the candidate's education, training, and/or experience relative to internal peers and the external labor market. CPCCo will not solicit salary history for candidates.

Expected annualized pay range based on 40 hours per week:

* Career Grade 16: $88,200 - $111,100
* Career Grade 17: $96,938 - $122,113

In addition to base pay, employees may be eligible for variable pay awards.
