At Central Plateau Cleanup Company (CPCCo), located in Richland, Washington, we are working to provide a sustainable future for the historic Hanford area through the protection of the Columbia River and the remediation of the Central Plateau. Primary duties of a Training Specialist include, but are not limited to:
* Training Development and Evaluation: Lead the strategic development and evaluation of complex training programs, driving innovation and effectiveness.
* Program Coordination: Oversee multiple training programs, ensuring strategic alignment and resource optimization.
* Material Design: Spearhead the creation of advanced training materials and frameworks, setting standards for quality and effectiveness.
* Needs Analysis: Lead comprehensive needs analyses and mentor junior staff in instructor selection and material acquisition.
* Program Design: Design and implement high-impact training programs, leveraging industry best practices.
* Lesson Planning: Develop and refine lesson plans and presentations, incorporating cutting-edge training methodologies.
* Training Delivery: Deliver advanced training sessions and mentor other trainers, ensuring high-quality delivery across formats.
* Compliance: Lead initiatives to enhance compliance with CPCCo standards, driving continuous improvement in training processes.
* Mentoring and Coaching: Provide mentorship and coaching to junior training specialists, fostering professional growth and development. Guide team members in best practices, offering feedback and support to enhance their skills and performance.
Basic Qualifications
* Senior Grade 18: Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience with 8 or more years of relevant experience
* Senior Grade 19: Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience with 9 or more years of relevant experience
The higher posted level has greater scope, complexity, authority, impact. The level offered to the selected candidate will be based on the needs of the company and the candidate's education, training, and/or experience.
Desired Qualifications
* Experience working in the VISION development software program, or similar program.
* Instructor qualification or training specialist qualification related to technical/functional operations of a nuclear facility (operation of pumps, valves, ventilation systems, waste transfer systems, chemical systems).
* Knowledge of regulatory requirements for nuclear facilities in regard to training and to facility operations.
Compensation & Benefits
In accordance with the CPCCo salary determination process, CPCCo takes into consideration the level of assigned job duties and responsibilities, and the candidate's education, training, and/or experience relative to internal peers and the external labor market. CPCCo will not solicit salary history for candidates.
Expected annualized pay range based on 40 hours per week:
* Senior Grade 18: $106,663 - $134,588 * Senior Grade 19: $117,225 - $147,775
In addition to base pay, employees may be eligible for variable pay awards.
