Your future teams are developing Nokia 3GPP mainstream radio technology products and solutions including cross-technology responsibility (Multi Radio Access Technology).

What you will learn and contribute to

MN RAN R&D RF Product Development US is responsible for 5G BTS development is looking for a PCB design engineer to participate in the development of cellular base stations. Considering both experienced and those willing to explore new areas. The PCB (Printed Circuit Board) Designer position performs schematic capture, layout and implementation of design rules on PCBs of varying complexity. The proper PCB tools are applied to ensure that the board functions as expected with reference to specific requirements. Training on the various software tools required will be provided. In this job, you will:

  • Understand electronic symbols and how they interconnect to each other.
  • Prepare layouts and component placement based on design rules and processes.
  • Prepare assembly drawings and Bill Of Materials.
  • Be able to gain a quick understanding of the software tools provided (Expedition).
  • Work with R&D engineering and manufacturing teams to develop/revise PCB layouts
  • Co-operation with other design teams

Required skills:

  • Should possess a two year technical or associate degree in a related field.
  • Requires a self-assertive individual that will take the initiative to quickly gain PCB layout tool knowledge and be able to apply that knowledge with minimal direction.
  • Self-motivated, team oriented individual who can work independently and can multiplex several tasks.
  • Maintain focus on project schedules and follow through to meet them.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft tools such as Excel, Word, etc
  • Knowledge in RF Circuit layouts techniques
  • Experience with Mentor tool / Expedition will be plus
  • Positive attitude, and experience working in a team environment

It would be nice if you also had

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Should be a good planner and organizer
  • Adept Problem Solver
