Why do we need you ?

The Summer 2025 Labor Relations Intern will support the Labor Relations (LR) team to gain an understanding of the basic responsibilities of the labor relations function. The Intern will contribute meaningfully to the organization through the successful and timely completion of assigned projects and tasks. The individual will relate and apply knowledge acquired in their academic setting to contribute to the company's success in achieving its Labor Relations objectives.

Tasks include, but are not limited to:



  • Conduct regular audits of labor agreements to ensure proper compliance with negotiated terms
  • Actively support LR initiatives, including but not limited to training and data analysis
  • Collaborate with the HR managers, Compensation & Benefits, HR Operations as requested
  • Participate in contract negotiations across our facilities in the United States and Canada
  • Review data analytics from our North American Engagement Survey and work on larger action planning with the team

Is this job for you ?

  • Actively pursuing a bachelor's or higher-level degree in a human resources or labor relations-related field
  • Strong customer orientation to effectively communicate, build relationships, present ideas, and lead people to meet customer needs and achieve department and company objectives
  • Excellent computer skills and proficiency with all related company systems and programs, especially Excel
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Effective time management skills in prioritizing and addressing multiple and at times conflicting demands
  • High energy with a sense of urgency in responding to organizational needs
  • High level of personal and professional integrity
  • Attention to detail in maintaining required records and reports
  • Communicates effectively in both English and French
  • Ability to travel within the US and Canada is required
