Job Title: Medical Receptionist Location: Toms River, NJ 08753 Pay Range: $20 - $23 per hour (flexible) Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for a variety of tasks to ensure smooth and efficient operations within our office. Key Responsibilities: * Patient Check-In and Check-Out: Schedule appointments, manage patient flow, and ensure all necessary paperwork is completed. * Answering Phones: Handle incoming calls, provide information, and direct calls to the appropriate personnel. * Scanning and Faxing: Manage incoming and outgoing faxes, scan documents, and handle voicemail messages. * Appointment Confirmation: Confirm upcoming appointments with patients to ensure they are aware of their scheduled times. * Podiatry Experience: While not mandatory, experience in podiatry is a plus and will be considered favorably. Software Skills Required: * EPIC: Proficiency in using EPIC software for managing patient records and appointments. Work Hours: * Office Hours: Monday to Thursday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM; Friday, 9:00 AM to 3:30 PM. * Training Hours: To be determined based on the candidate's experience and availability. Interview Process: * In-Person Interviews: Candidates will be interviewed face-to-face at our office location. Health Screenings: * In addition to a drug and background check, the following health screenings are required: * TB blood test * MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) * Varicella * Hepatitis B titers * Respirator medical clearance Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
