Job Overview:

Assemble, fabricate, and test mechanical parts, pieces or products using a variety of tools and equipment according to required specifications in a specific area of a production line in a manufacturing organization. Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.

Responsibilities:

* Read, interpret and follow blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and other written instructions or procedures to accurately assemble equipment(s) and products.
* Utilize manual tools and pneumatic tools.
* Maintain inventory of product in workstations. Maintain cleanliness (5S) of work area daily
* Perform quality work checks to ensure the product meets quality standards.
* Identify product defects and complete appropriate documentation when defects are identified.
* Rework and/or repair assembled equipment and products according to engineering specification changes.
* Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures.
* Participate in continuous improvement goals of the work site

Requirements:

* At least 3+ (or more years) of assembly experience
* At least 1+ (or more years) of experience reading and interpreting blueprints.
* Ability to use various power (Pneumatic) hand tools (i.e.; power screwdriver, socket etc.)

Preferences:

* High School Diploma or equivalent preferred

Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements:

* This position will be based 100% onsite at our Burbank, California location

Pay Range:

Starting Pay will range between $24- $25 per hour depending on qualifications and experience. This is a full-time, hourly position.
This position is eligible for the LIP (Local Incentive Plan) of up to 4%.?The pay range considers a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skills; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed pay range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Ingersoll Rand, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the pay range for their role and compensation, decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
