Job Overview
Shift: 2nd Hours: 4pm to 2:30am Monday - Thursday. Must be able to work mandatory overtime on Fridays when needed. Responsible for performing clerical and physical tasks in connection with shipping and receiving. A Day In The Life
Audit Bill of Lading (BOL). Audit Work Orders. Complete Safety Stock. Conduct daily floor sweep. Identify products to put away or ship. Conduct finished goods inventory. Complete cycle count. Complete pick pack safety stock inventory. Update pick/pack list. Complete ship logs. Label/verify finished goods in ship lane. Review Order Control Log (OCL) for safety stock inventory. Receive Lid truck. Fulfill Inter-Company Purchases (STPO's). Complete end of day verifications. Lift and move heavy items/packages as required. Use a computer as needed to create entries and maintain an electronic log of incoming and outgoing packages. Requisition and store shipping materials and supplies to maintain inventory of stock. Maintain in-house vendor inventory. Maintain a busy loading dock in good order, including all necessary labels, equipment, materials and supplies. Package outgoing shipments and parcels (UPS). Select appropriate carriers/trackers to fill needs, both domestic and international and complete necessary shipping documentation. Track shipments as needed. What will help you thrive in this role?
Must demonstrate excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Must possess exceptional interpersonal skills along with written and oral communication expertise.
