Position Summary |
Deposits:
Deposits need to be processed daily; State law requires that funds be deposited within one business day of receipt. Receipts are generally in the form of cash, check and credit cards. This is a crucial role for the accounting assistant.
Reconciliation:
The Accounting Assistant should ensure digital back-up is saved and monthly reconciliation is completed.
Invoice Processing:
The accounting assistant will also be responsible for processing different types of payment.
Journal Corrections:
Processing Journal corrections of transactions that may have been charged to the wrong chart field string. This is especially crucial before the closing out of the fiscal year but should be done on a regular basis.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements |
HS diploma plus 1 year experience |
