Custodian - Part Time

Maintain physical plant in a sanitary manner. Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the facility.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and safety of exterior of plant
• Maintain all restrooms in a sanitary manner throughout the plant
• Remove all refuse from the interior of the plant and deposit in containers outside of the plant
• Minimize water usage and the generation of wastewater within the scope of the position
• Maintain offices throughout the plant and ensure cleanliness
• Maintain all areas of the plant to ensure cleanliness
• Report any food safety and food quality related issues to management immediately
• Maintain safe working conditions for employees and compliance with all state and federal regulations regarding health and safety issues
• Follow all DFA good manufacturing practices (GMP) and work in a manner consistent with all corporate regulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements

OUR CUSTODIANS MAKE:

• $21.00 per hour

SCHEDULE: Days and Hours TBD

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• 2 to 5 years of experience in janitorial

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Able to follow directions and carry out instructions
• Able to effectively work in a team environment
• Able to legibly write entries for record keeping
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
• Must be able to read, write and speak English
