Job Summary

The Instructional Designer is responsible for evaluating and designing enterprise training programs to ensure our artners acquire the knowledge and skills needed to accel in their roles and continually improve services to our customers. In close collaboration with each Line of Business and all Centers of Excellence (People, Finance, Marketing, IT, Safety), this role develops training strategies that leverage a variety of approaches, including classroom-led sessions, virtual learning, video-based content, and learning management systems (LMS). The Instructional Designer also Partners with project delivery teams to address training needs for new processes, procedures, and TD products (business and technology), fostering a culture of continuous learning and operational excellence.

Essential Duties

    Collaborates with Business Units and Centers of Excellence to assess training needs and design comprehensive programs that align with organizational objectives.
  • Develops training using a variety of approaches, including:
    • Classroom-led instruction for hands-on, in-depth learning experiences.
    • Virtual training sessions to engage geographically distributed teams.
    • Video-based content for accessible, on-demand learning opportunities.
    • LMS-driven e-learning modules for scalable, self-paced training.
    • Blended learning solutions that combine multiple methods to maximize effectiveness.
  • Partners with Project Delivery teams to create and implement training plans for new processes, procedures, and TD products, ensuring smooth adoption across the organization.
  • Creates, updates, and curates training content that is engaging, relevant, and tailored to various learning styles and business needs.
  • Evaluates training program effectiveness through metrics, assessments, and learner feedback, applying continuous improvement strategies.
  • Designs workshops, role playing and hands-on simulations to enhance skill-building and application in real-world scenarios.
  • Tracks and documents training activities, maintaining compliance with organizational standards and best practices.
  • Supports employee onboarding by providing foundational training on company processes, tools, and customer service principles.
  • Responsible for training, learning, and knowledge initiatives and projects as an owner, participant and/or subject matter expert. Reviews and revises current curriculum and training formats and recommends and provides planning for improvements, efficiencies, or redesign based on results of learning objective results. Tracks learning and development activities across the organization.
  • Drives knowledge-sharing initiatives, leveraging technology and collaboration tools to enhance team learning and innovation.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Minimum Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of instructional design and training experience in a corporate learning environment required.
  • Demonstrated expertise in delivering training using diverse approaches, including classroom-led instruction, LMS-based modules, virtual sessions, and video content.
  • Strong knowledge of adult learning principles, instructional design methodologies (ADDIE, SAM), and the ability to tailor training delivery to different learning preferences.
  • Proficiency in creating engaging multimedia training materials, including videos, e-learning modules, and interactive digital content.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, facilitation, and communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse teams and stakeholders effectively.
  • Familiarity with instructional design tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, or similar) and LMS platforms.
  • Proven experience in program evaluation and using data to drive improvements in training content and delivery methods.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to balance multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is a plus.
  • Mastery of Microsoft Office Suite and related business tools.
  • Self-motivated team player capable of working independently and collaboratively.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Education, Business Administration, Instructional Design, Organizational Development or related field is preferred.
