Overview

This position is primarily responsible for creating geospatial data and layouts to support Aviation projects.


Responsibilities

    Utilize ArcGIS Pro to manipulate data and create detailed layouts
  • Prepare and organize geospatial data for analysis and presentation
  • Maintain consistent data management practices to ensure data accuracy and integrity
  • Generate reports and visualizations from geospatial data
  • Interpret and edit digital maps for accuracy and updates
  • Provide support to senior technicians in various tasks and maintenance duties
  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by supervisor or team lead


Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree in Geospatial Technologies or commensurate years of professional geospatial-related experience preferred.
  • Experience with ArcGIS Pro required.
  • Familiarity with cartographic design within GIS.
  • Experience with raster data and spatial databases required.
  • Aviation knowledge or experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of ArcGIS Aviation Extension preferred.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Mentally and physically capable of performing all essential duties of the position.
  • Intermediate verbal and written communication skills for both internal and external interactions.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group settings.
  • Proficient in performing intermediate mathematical calculations.
  • Intermediate computer skills required.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities.

Travel:

  • Willingness to travel up to 10%.

Resulting Physical Qualifications:

  • Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to operate and manipulate standard office equipment.
  • Ability to occasionally reach, bend, climb, and/or balance.
  • Ability to frequently lift and/or move 10 to 50 pounds.
  • Visual abilities: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth (stereo) vision, and ability to adjust focus.
