Job Summary: The Manager OSP Post Awards leads and supervises central office staff performing all non-financial post-award activities. Provides guidance, mentorship, and training to researchers, ORED staff, and other key stakeholders. Reviews, directs, and organizes new award set-up, amendments, modifications, and close-outs in the electronic research administration system and applicable sponsor systems. Develops, implements, evaluates and/or revises non-financial post-award policies and procedures. Collaborates with stakeholders and leadership to enhance systems, business processes, and data integrity for accurate reporting. Manages, plans, and evaluates post-award activities and responsibilities to ensure compliance with all relevant federal and state laws and University and sponsor polices and regulations. Required Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and six (6) years of grant and/or contract administration experience; OR master's degree and four (4) years of grant and/or contract administration experience. Skills and Knowledge: Knowledge of federal rules and regulations relating to research grant and contract activity, with specific understanding of post-award management processes for multiple sponsoring agencies. Proficiency with MS Office Suite and electronic research administration systems. Preferred Qualifications: Relevant research administration certification such as CRA (Certified Research Administrator) or CFRA (Certified Financial Research Administrator), previous supervisory experience, demonstrated leadership and independent initiative.
