Responsibilities

Senior Manager, International Tax
Reporting to the Director of U.S. Tax Compliance and Reporting, this role will be responsible for all aspects of the U.S. international tax calculations for Keysight's U.S. tax return and financial statement reporting.
Primary Responsibilities
  • Manage the U.S. international tax compliance and reporting processes, including the calculation of GILTI, Subpart F, FDII, 163(j) and foreign tax credits
  • Review U.S. international tax compliance forms, including Forms 1118, 5471, 8858 and various other U.S. international tax forms and U.S. income tax disclosures
  • Oversee the U.S. international tax compliance workplan to assign tasks, set deadlines and manage the overall timing of deliverables and dependencies
  • Manage the preparation of the U.S. international tax workpapers, ensuring that workpapers are accurate and organized in preparation for tax audits
  • Manage the preparation and review of U.S. federal amended income tax returns
  • Model impacts of tax legislation and planning initiatives
  • Provide technical analysis of U.S. tax implications of non-U.S. transactions
  • Assist with cash distribution planning and provide tax advice to Management regarding the U.S. tax implications
  • Assist with special projects as necessary, such as tax research
  • Manage the India Tax Team indirectly reporting to you, including providing technical instruction, training, oversight, and guidance
  • Management and coordination of third-party tax service providers

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA and/or advanced degree (e.g., MST) preferred
  • Minimum 6+ years of tax experience in Big 4 accounting firm or equivalent experience in a tax department of a large multinational corporation
  • International compliance, tax accounting, and provision experience with multinational corporate structures
  • Experience in preparing international components of a U.S. federal income tax return for a large multinational corporation
  • Must be an organized thinker with strong analytical and Excel skills
  • High degree of accuracy and ability to manage and manipulate large quantities of data
  • Experience with OneSource Income Tax or International Tax Calculator software is a plus
Preferred location is Santa Rosa, California. However, the Company will consider qualified candidates within the Bay Area for a hybrid work model. Relocation available.

California pay range: MIN $156,740.00, MIDPOINT $208,980.00 - MAX $261,230.00
