CLASS A CDL DRIVER

Wirtz & Daughters, a Heritage partner company, is actively seeking a self-motivated, customer service-oriented individual that is a team player. Safety is one of our many top priorities therefore we offer safety bonuses for clean inspections!

This full-time CLASS A Driver will be responsible for delivering products to customers, branches, and vendors. The workweek is Monday through Saturday during Spring & Summer months. CLASS A CDL LICENSE is a MUST!

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

-An eye for safety including vehicle inspections, load securement, and general rules of the road.

-Driving multiple truck types (Tri-Axle dump trucks, tractor trailers, etc.)

-Loading, unloading, and staging orders in a warehouse/jobsite environment.

-Delivering to customer sites, branch locations and unloading products as needed.

-Understanding and adherence to the regulations detailed in the FMCSA.

-Other related duties as assigned, stocking, order entry, shipping/receiving, etc.

REQUIREMENTS

-High School diploma or equivalent

-CDL License - Class A - MANUAL TRANSMISSION

-Acceptable driving record

-Basic computer knowledge, including keyboard (typing), mouse, Internet use

-Forklift experience helpful

-Ability to lift 75 pounds; 50 pounds on a repetitive basis

-Able to pass a pre-employment drug test and DOT physical
