Melting Blend Technician Roles and Responsibilities

Qualifications

• Proficient use of Microsoft "Word" applications
• Proficient use of Microsoft "Excel" applications

Responsibilities

Calc production and recycle ingots and work opposite of the existing Blend tech so that Ingots can be calculated in a timely and efficient manner. In addition to calculating production and recycle ingots the two blend techs would be assigned the following additional responsibilities:

• Scan and upload files to PRIME server
• Stub inventory control and creation (currently done by process engineer)
• Melt crucible tracking and repair coordination, both Arc melt and EB.
• Melting Tooling inventory management
• Ingot melt paperwork filing
• Completing End of Month accounting spreadsheets.
• Alloy inventory control, ordering and release.
• Sponge inventory management
• Recycle spar inventory and control.
• Manage the low O2 ingot inventory
• Perform cause analysis for out of spec material.
• Assist in projects as assigned and as time permits
