This position will drive strategic pricing excellence and lead value optimization initiatives across Hubbell Utility divisions while managing a high-performing team of pricing analysts. A Day In The Life

  • Develop and mentor a team of pricing analysts through structured coaching and guidance, fostering a culture of analytical excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Design and execute comprehensive pricing strategies that optimize revenue and profitability, incorporating market dynamics and product lifecycle considerations.
  • Direct market analysis programs, including competitive intelligence gathering, value perception studies, and trend monitoring to inform pricing decisions.
  • Lead the implementation and continuous improvement of pricing analytics infrastructure, including dashboards and predictive models that enable data-driven decision-making.
  • Build strategic partnerships across functions to integrate customer insights, operational excellence, and financial targets into pricing strategies.
  • Design and implement pricing governance frameworks, including approval protocols and audit processes to ensure consistent pricing practices.
  • Deliver executive communications through strategic presentations and business cases that drive organizational alignment on pricing initiatives.
  • Develop forward-looking pricing strategies that address market trends and regulatory requirements in the utility sector.

What will help you thrive in this role?

  • Bachelor of Science in a quantitative discipline such as Computer Science, Finance, Engineering, Mathematics, or another analytically rigorous field. Master's Degree preferred.
  • 7+ years of pricing experience in industrial or manufacturing environments, including 3+ years successfully leading and developing teams.
  • Proven track record of designing and implementing strategic pricing initiatives that delivered measurable profit improvement.
  • Advanced analytical capabilities including statistical analysis, financial modeling, and scenario planning, with demonstrated ability to translate complex analyses into actionable business strategies.
  • Expert proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including advanced formulas, VBA, power queries) and experience with enterprise ERP systems (SAP preferred).
  • Demonstrated expertise with modern business intelligence tools (Power BI, Tableau) preferred.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills with proven ability to influence senior leadership and drive cross-functional alignment.
  • Deep understanding of value-based pricing methodologies, including value quantification, price elasticity analysis, and customer willingness-to-pay research.
  • Experience with price optimization software, CPQ systems, and digital pricing tools preferred
