Join our team at Genie and embark on an exciting opportunity as we seek a skilled and dedicated Director, Digital Services to contribute to the Digital Solutions team.

As Director Digital Services at Genie, you will lead the strategic development and execution of digital services within our Genie business. This role will be responsible for driving the growth and innovation of digital platforms, enhancing customer experiences, and integrating cutting-edge technologies to support our product portfolio. The Director will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Sales, Service, IT, Engineering, Product Management, and Marketing to deliver seamless and impactful digital solutions.

What you'll do

Digital Strategy Development:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive digital services strategy that aligns with the company's business goals and product offerings.
  • Identify new opportunities for digital innovation and service offerings that enhance the value proposition for customers.

Product Management:

  • Lead the design, development, and deployment of digital products and services, ensuring they meet market demands and customer needs.
  • Manage the product lifecycle of digital services, from concept to launch, including post-launch support and continuous improvement.

Customer Experience Enhancement:

  • Drive initiatives that enhance the digital customer journey, ensuring a seamless experience across all digital touchpoints.
  • Implement feedback loops with customers to continuously improve digital services and address pain points.

Cross-Functional Leadership:

  • Collaborate with engineering, IT, sales, service and marketing teams to ensure the successful integration of digital services with existing products.

Technology Integration:

  • Evaluate and implement the latest technologies such as IoT, AI, and cloud computing to enhance the company's digital offerings.
  • Ensure the digital infrastructure is robust, scalable, and secure.

Data-Driven Decision Making:

  • Utilize analytics to monitor the performance of digital services and make data-driven decisions to optimize outcomes.
  • Develop and track KPIs to measure the success and ROI of digital initiatives.

Market Analysis and Competitive Intelligence:

  • Conduct market research to stay ahead of industry trends and competitor activities in the digital space.
  • Adjust strategies as needed to maintain a competitive edge.

Budget Management:

  • Develop and manage budgets for digital services projects, ensuring cost efficiency and alignment with business goals.
  • Oversee vendor relationships and negotiate contracts as needed.

What you'll bring

Education / Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. An MBA or advanced degree is preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in digital services, product management, or related roles within the OEM or manufacturing industry.
  • Proven track record of leading digital transformation initiatives and successfully launching digital products.
  • Experience with IoT, cloud services, AI, and other emerging technologies is highly desirable

  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in digital tools and platforms, including CRM, ERP, and data analytics tools.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Salary: The salary range for this position is $132,000 to $165,000 USD. The salary range may be higher or lower depending on the applicant's location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for a performance bonus. All eligible Team Members will be offered health insurance (medical, dental, vision, Rx), life insurance, accidental death & dismemberment (AD&D), short-term and long-term disability, extended leave options, paid time off, company holidays, 401k matching, employee stock purchase plan, legal assistance, wellness programs, tuition reimbursement and discount programs.
