Job Summary We are looking for a highly skilled Azure Solution Architect with expertise in full stack development, data warehousing, Generative AI, and a strong understanding of the power and energy industry. The successful candidate will design, implement, and optimize solutions that leverage modern technologies to drive business transformation. This role requires a mix of technical acumen, industry knowledge, and innovative thinking. Key Responsibilities
- Solution Architecture & Design
- Design and implement scalable and secure solutions on the Azure platform, integrating full-stack, data, and AI components.
- Develop architecture frameworks and best practices tailored to the power and energy sector.
- Ensure solutions are robust, scalable, and compliant with industry regulations.
- Full Stack Development Expertise
- Design and implement responsive front-end applications using frameworks like Angular, React, or Vue.js.
- Build back-end services and APIs with .NET, Node.js, or Python.
- Optimize and manage cloud-native deployments with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and Azure App Services.
- Data Warehouse & Analytics
- Architect and deploy modern data warehouses using Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Data Lake
- Experience or knowledge on other Data Platforms like Snowflake, Databricks etc..
- Exposure to Time Series data models such as Azure Data explorer, Influx etc...
- Create data pipelines, ETL/ELT workflows, and ensure high-performance data processing.
- Develop and implement data models for analytics, visualization, and reporting using Power BI or other tools.
- Generative AI & Machine Learning
- Develop and integrate Generative AI models (e.g., OpenAI GPT models or Azure Cognitive Services) to create innovative solutions tailored for the energy sector.
- Leverage AI for predictive analytics, demand forecasting, and intelligent automation.
- Ensure responsible AI practices, focusing on fairness, privacy, and interpretability.
- Power Industry Focus
- Understand the unique challenges of the power and energy industry, including grid management, load balancing, and regulatory compliance.
- Build solutions that support energy trading, renewable energy analytics, and smart grid operations.
- Drive digital transformation initiatives that enhance efficiency and sustainability.
- Leadership & Collaboration
- Lead cross-functional teams of developers, data engineers, and analysts to deliver impactful solutions.
- Act as a technical advisor for key stakeholders, including executives and business leaders.
- Mentor team members and foster a culture of innovation and continuous learning.
Qualifications Technical Skills
- Azure Expertise: Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Factory, Azure Cognitive Services, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure Functions, and Azure API Management.
- Full Stack Development: Proficiency in front-end (React, Angular, or Vue.js) and back-end (Node.js, .NET, or Python) development.
- Generative AI: Experience with OpenAI APIs, Azure OpenAI Service, or other Gen AI platforms.
- Data Engineering: Strong knowledge of ETL processes, data modeling, and data pipeline optimization.
- DevOps: Experience with CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker), and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Azure DevOps or Terraform.
Industry Experience
- Solid understanding of the power and energy industry, including energy trading, renewable energy, grid management, and regulatory requirements.
- Experience delivering solutions that support operational efficiency and sustainability.
Other Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degrees preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in solution architecture, with at least 5 years in Azure-based environments.
- Certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure Data Engineer Associate, or Azure AI Engineer Associate are highly desirable.
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
