The Weekend Program offers a weekend only shift schedule with enhanced compensation. The Weekend Program is a 12 month commitment to work 48 scheduled weekends in a 12 month period beginning with first shift worked. Travel allowance is available for eligible employees travelling greater than 75 miles one way. Entry-level professional nurse, focused primarily on developing knowledge and skills. Provides safe patient care at a basic level and shows growth in ability to care for increasingly complex patients. Manages care and implements treatment plans at a basic skill level in collaboration with patients, their families, physicians and other members of the health care team. Requires consultation with more experienced clinicians and benefits from feedback. In addition to the above job responsibilities, other duties may be assigned. Position Compensation Range: $38.00 - $38.00 Hourly MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program required. Bachelor of Science in Nursing required within 5 years of hire. Experience: No experience required. Licensure: Licensed to Practice as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Virginia. American Heart Association (AHA) Health Care Provider BLS certification required. PHYSICAL DEMANDS Job requires standing for prolonged periods, frequently traveling and bending/stooping. Proficient communicative, auditory and visual skills; Attention to detail and ability to write legibly; Ability to lift/push/pull 20 - 50lbs. May be exposed to chemicals, blood/body fluids and infectious disease.
