To strengthen our team in Adrian, we are looking for you as a(n) Director, Silicones Operations. The Director Silicones Operations leads the Adrian Site SILICONES Operations including production units HCR, RTV, Polymers and HiBay, engineering, maintenance and utilities, quality control, process chemistry, environment/health/safety and security of the site. The position works to build strong teamwork between Supply Chain, Business Teams, Operations and Support groups (including Logistics, Corporate Engineering and Regional EHS) as well as regionally and globally. The Director Silicones Operations is responsible for the safe, sound, economical an in-spec manufacturing of WACKER products, of complying to all safety, labor, environmental and other applicable laws and regulations, both external and internal, of leading and guiding team members. The position is responsible to improve efficiency and effectiveness of the site operations and develops and executes a site development plan by improving the production assets. The position leads and directs continuous improvement efforts to achieve the vision of world class safety and manufacturing performance. Maintains appropriate communications within and between various functional areas within the Division Silicones, Wacker Chemical Corporation, and Wacker Chemie AG sites. Essential Functions:
