Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Paralegal to join the Real Estate department in our Minneapolis, MN office. This position offers a hybrid work-location schedule, allowing employees to work from both the office and home.
Key Responsibilities Include:
* Review title and survey for sale and purchase transactions, as well as financing transactions.
* Prepare documents to cure title defects.
* Prepare drafts of various real estate documents, such as leases, purchase agreements, easement agreements, and various other real estate documents
* Manage and close real estate sale and purchase transactions and financing transactions.
* Interface with title companies, negotiating terms as necessary.
* Draft conveyance documents and related real estate documents.
* Manage due diligence for sale, purchase, and financing transactions.
* Prepare mechanic's lien statements and handle various types of Torrens proceedings.
Our Ideal Candidate Will Have:
* At least five years of real estate paralegal experience; outstanding candidates with less experience will be considered.
* Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage a diverse and busy workload.
* Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* A solid understanding of real estate law and core real estate documents and concepts, and experience with title reviews, due diligence, and closings.
* Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

The salary range for this position varies by geographic market. In Minneapolis, the estimated starting annual pay range is $57,000 - $87,000/year. The compensation offered will be dependent on the candidate's experience, skills, education, professional background, overall qualifications, and geographic market location.
