Job Title: Content Producer-Linguist (Canadian or British English)

Job Description:

We are seeking talented linguists fluent in either Canadian English or British English to ensure content is culturally and linguistically accurate for the respective markets. In this role, you will work cross-functionally with Design, Product, Editorial, Safety, and Engineering teams to deliver high-quality content that meets local linguistic norms. You will be responsible for evaluating content, ensuring data quality, and supporting the implementation of Machine Learning and Large Language Models (LLM) projects.

Both roles will involve similar tasks, but each will focus on its specific regional variations (Canadian English or British English) to ensure accuracy and cultural appropriateness.

Key Responsibilities:

• Canadian English: Apply expert knowledge of Canadian grammar, spelling, and cultural nuances to ensure content is appropriate for the Canadian market.
• British English: Apply expert knowledge of British grammar, spelling, and cultural norms to ensure content is suitable for the UK market.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define evaluation requirements for LLM implementation across projects.
• Maintain high data quality standards, continually enhancing processes based on quantitative and qualitative feedback.
• Evaluate content, verify metadata accuracy, and perform quality assurance tasks (editing, scoring, transcribing, copywriting, etc.).
• Provide clear problem-solving feedback and communicate recommendations to editorial and engineering teams.
• Leverage established workflows and collaborate with project leads, style guides, and terminology databases to meet project requirements.
• Desirable: Experience with Large Language Models (LLMs) and evaluation techniques (e.g., human evaluation, automated benchmarks).
• Conduct research to validate and create automated benchmarks for LLM evaluations, ensuring data quality and validity.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with LLMs and evaluation techniques.
• Background in linguistics, machine learning, cognitive science, psychology, economics, or related fields.
• Advanced degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., linguistics, computer science, machine learning).

This role requires native-level fluency in either Canadian English or British English, depending on the position. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse teams are essential.
