Your dream work environment is just a step away! DESCRIPTION OF WORK As a seasonal Park Maintenance Worker at Promised Land State Park, you will ensure the park's 3,000-acre operations run smoothly. Your responsibilities include: Performing light carpentry and plumbing while maintaining park facilities. Cleaning sanitary facilities in picnic areas and campgrounds are effective. Painting and staining park signs and structures. Assisting tradespeople in cutting lumber, mixing concrete, and renovating buildings. Using a chainsaw to remove hazardous trees and trim branches. Mowing grass to maintain the park's appearance. Handling garbage collection and disposal efficiently. Your contributions are essential for maintaining the park's facilities and creating a clean, safe, and enjoyable environment for all visitors. Interested in learning more? Shift hours and days vary due to operational need, with a 30-minute lunch Weekends, holidays, and all shifts as needed at 37.5 hours per week You will receive further communication regarding this position via email. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: One year of experience in laboring work including the use of tools and equipment used in maintenance or construction; or An equivalent combination of experience and training. Condition of Employment: This position require possession of a valid PA non-commercial Class C driver's license or equivalent. Other Requirements: You must meet the PA residency requirement.
