DESCRIPTION OF WORK

As a Driver License Examiner Assistant at the Erie Center, you will engage confidently with customers to verify their identification, complete application forms, and input information into our online driver's license application software. You will conduct standardized knowledge tests to effectively assess applicants' understanding of the vehicle code, driving laws, and relevant traffic control devices. Each applicant will undergo a vision screening for visual acuity using a telebinocular instrument. You will also take on additional related duties as required, showcasing your versatility and commitment to outstanding service. Interested in learning more? - Full-time employment
- Work hours are 8:15 AM to 4:45 PM, Tuesday - Saturday, with a 30-minute lunch.
- This position may require travel and overtime.
- Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year of experience obtaining, evaluating, and providing information to the public.
Other Requirements:

- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
Legal Requirements:
- This position requires the selected candidate to undergo and pass a Fingerprint and Name-Based Criminal History Check prior to employment.
