DESCRIPTION OF WORK

In this role, you will be responsible for the coordination and facilitation of local training initiatives within an engineering district and county maintenance organizations. This includes managing the training program and serving as the primary point of contact for all training-related activities between the district, county organizations, and the central office's technical training division at PennDOT, as well as the OA Bureau of Talent Development. You will take the lead as the training coordinator for the district, overseeing the delegation of administrative and coordination tasks to county training coordinators. Your responsibilities will also encompass acting as a local presenter or facilitator for a diverse range of training sessions, which include essential Human Resources and compliance training in collaboration with the OA Bureau of Talent Development, as well as various technical training programs offered by PennDOT. Additionally, you may provide informational or training sessions tailored to county organizations as required. You will leverage the Learning Management System to effectively schedule training sessions and resources, enroll participants, conduct training using established course materials, coordinate with external vendors, gather feedback on training effectiveness, manage training credits, maintain and audit training transcripts, and communicate training requirements to relevant stakeholders. The specific local training offerings you may coordinate include mandatory training sessions, the New Employee Orientation Program (NEOP) with necessary union notifications, courses on effective communication, equipment operation instruction, team leadership facilitation skills, customer service training, teambuilding workshops, HR refresher topics such as workplace violence and fitness for duty, as well as contracted technical training in areas like construction, materials, design, and safety protocols, among others. - Full-time employment
- Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch.
- Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Bridgeville.
- The position may be eligible for Alternate Work Schedule (AWS).

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year of experience as a Management Analyst 1; or
- two years of experience in technical management analysis work, and a bachelor's degree; or
- Any equivalent combination of experience and training.
Other Requirements:
