Job purpose Global Furniture Group is a leading provider of innovative workplace solutions, and we are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Order Entry Intern to join our team. This internship provides an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in gaining practical experience in order processing within a dynamic and global corporate environment. Global Furniture Group is seeking an Order Entry Intern to support our order processing operations. The selected candidate will work closely with our order entry professionals, contributing to the accurate and efficient processing of customer orders. Essential Duties and Responsibilities 1. Order Processing: * Assist in entering and processing customer orders management system. * Verify order accuracy, pricing, and product details to ensure completeness. 2. Communication: * Collaborate with various departments, including sales and logistics, to coordinate order fulfillment. * Communicate with customers to confirm order details and provide order status updates. 3. Issue Resolution: * Investigate and resolve order-related issues, working closely with cross-functional teams. * Address inquiries and discrepancies related to order processing. 4. Data Management: * Maintain accurate and up-to-date order records in the system. * Contribute to the analysis of order data to identify trends and areas for improvement. 5. Process Improvement: * Participates in initiatives to streamline and improve the efficiency of the order entry process. * Provide Feedback on potential enhancements to order processing procedures. 6. Ad Hoc Projects: * Contribute to special projects as needed. Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
