CLA is growing and seeking to hire an experienced Lead - Data Analyst to join our talented Information Technology team. The position offers growth, flexibility and a collaborative work environment.

This role involves overseeing data projects, providing technical and strategic guidance to senior and associate data analysts, and ensuring the successful delivery of analytics solutions.

How you'll create opportunities in this Data Analyst Lead role:

  • Project Management: Lead the planning, execution, and completion of data analytics projects. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project goals, timelines, and deliverables while ensuring quality standards are met.
  • Data Analysis & Development: Oversee the collection, preparation, and analysis of data using advanced tools and techniques. Guide the development of custom data models, algorithms, and visualizations to deliver actionable insights. Facilitate predictive analytics, machine learning, and artificial intelligence applications
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure the accuracy, relevance, and effectiveness of analytics solutions by reviewing the work of team members. Implement standards for data quality, visualization design, and reporting.
  • Seamless Client Service: Leverage a comprehensive understanding of the organization's services to align analytics solutions with business needs. Partner with internal and external stakeholders to identify opportunities for leveraging data insights to drive strategic decisions.
  • Mentorship: Act as a subject matter expert for data analytics, providing guidance to senior and associate analysts on best practices, tools, and techniques. Offer technical assistance and mentorship to team members to enhance their capabilities and professional growth.
  • Innovation: Stay informed of emerging trends, tools, and best practices in data analytics. Introduce innovative techniques and technologies to improve team efficiency and solution effectiveness.

What you will need:

  • 6 years of relevant experience, including project leadership or advanced data analytics roles required.
  • Bachelor's degree or combination of relevant education, experience, and training may be considered in lieu of a degree

Technical Competencies:

  • Expertise in Microsoft Power BI, Power Apps, and Alteryx for creating advanced visualizations and analytics solutions
  • Proficiency in statistical programming languages (e.g., Python, R, SQL) and advanced analytics libraries (e.g., ggplot2, matplotlib, seaborn).

  • Familiarity with machine learning and AI tools for predictive modeling and analysis.

  • Understanding of utilizing Key Performance Indices (KPIs) within relevant industries and services.

  • Strong understanding of software development principles and data governance practices

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Office products (Teams, Excel, Word, etc.).
