Electrical Engineer

Work Schedule:

Hybrid - Salt Lake City, UT

To be considered for the Electrical Engineer role, you will need to bring with you:

  • BS in Electrical Engineering

    • MS in Electrical Engineering a plus!

  • At least (2) years' post educational experience in electrical engineering

  • Working knowledge and demonstrated experience in the design of embedded microcontroller-based systems

    • Demonstrated ability to write/debug firmware for embedded microcontrollers a plus!

  • Familiarity with ECAD software (Cadence, Altium tools a plus!)

  • Experience with design and test for electromagnetic compatibility (EMC), and/or medical device design preferred

  • Ability to work onsite at our Salt Lake City, UT facility

As an Electrical Engineer you will focus on three main areas, Design, Test, and Applications....

Design

  • Update medical device design documentation and release in a document control system

  • Generate ECNs, working within change control procedures

  • Assist in developing/reviewing specifications within medical regulatory guidelines

  • Select components / review vendors

  • Design circuits, cables and circuit card assemblies within an EDA software suite

  • Participate in technical reviews

  • Work within ERP/PLM systems

  • Contribute within a cross-functional team to project/program objectives

Test

  • Generate/approve/execute test verification/validation protocols

  • Perform testing / conduct experiments on electrical systems

  • Analyze test data & interpret technical results

  • Create and release reports

Applications Engineering

  • Assist in preparing quotes and proposals for product development and maintenance

  • Support production staff as necessary

Salary Range Transparency:

Salt Lake City, UT $82,000.00-$105,000.00 Annually

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Moog salary range for this position in the given work location. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range(s) listed is just one component of Moog's total compensation package for employees.
