Responsibilities

The Market Manager works closely with the AVP, Regional Operations to drive optimum organizational dynamics, financial performance, operational efficiency, hospital contracting, safety advocacy, and oversight in the assigned region. The Market Manager has direct oversight for Site Supervisors and Hearing Screen Coordinators and is the primary driver to the successful integration of team members into one Pediatrix culture and ideology through efficient and effective management of all Hearing Screen Operations. The Market Manager is responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with all hospital partners. They serve as a driver of all shared services that support the Hearing Screen Program.

  • Monitors Hearing Screen performance through the review of monthly financials including monthly financial and operations review with the AVP, Regional Operations.
  • Evaluates Hearing Screen's productivity and provides recommendations for improvement.
  • Builds and manages key relationships important to the Hearing Screen Program.
  • Provides review and assistance of contract management with partnered hospitals.
  • Plans and executes ongoing strategic initiatives for all Hearing Screen Programs in their region, performs region assessments and develops and executes action plans to expand services while partnering with Business Development and Integration teams.
  • Evaluates team member's performance, creates development plans to address performance and/or behavioral gaps while coaching the team towards optimal performance.
  • Provide oversight of Hearing Screen integration and disintegration duties for the Region.
  • Manages and approves all requests for travel.
  • Work requires willingness to work a flexible schedule.


Qualifications

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

EXPERIENCE:

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in management and supervision
  • Preferred previous experience in healthcare

SKILLS:

  • Strong negotiation skills with the ability to find collaborative and positive outcomes; Ability to negotiate and build relationships with team members, hospital partners, and other healthcare professionals
  • Critical thinker with the ability to logically evaluate all aspects of situations and problems to arrive at optimal solutions
  • High degree of personal accountability, emotional intelligence, energy and entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in MS office
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Residency in eastern United States preferred.
