Staffmark has teamed up with a leading manufacturing company in Pryor, OK, to hire a dedicated Production Supervisor. This direct-hire position will have you overseeing production activities, ensuring quality products are delivered efficiently and on schedule. As a key leader, you will promote a culture of safety, compliance, and continuous improvement while meeting production goals. Pay: $24-28/hr (depending on experience) Shifts: 2nd and 3rd shifts, Monday-Friday with occasional weekend work as needed Responsibilities: Oversee production to ensure quality and meet goals Inspect equipment for safety and efficiency Resolve operational issues and minimize downtime Manage raw material blending and additives Supervise shutdown procedures for extrusion equipment Address non-conforming products through corrective actions Foster a culture of safety, improvement, and teamwork Lead and train team members on safety and quality standards Ensure smooth shift transitions with effective communication Knowledge, Skills & Qualifications: Strong communication and leadership skills Experience in manufacturing, safety protocols, and quality control Knowledge of extrusion, material blending, and defect identification Familiarity with continuous improvement strategies (Lean, Six Sigma) Ability to lead in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment Able to lift 50 lbs regularly, up to 80 lbs occasionally Comfortable in a hot, noisy manufacturing environment with PPE Reliable transportation required Willing to work in a physically demanding role Our partner company can provide you with the vital benefits that you deserve.
